This initiative simultaneously addresses both the housing and childcare affordability crises by effectively raising early childhood teacher compensation through the salaried benefit of free housing. We currently provide rent-free housing to more than 20% of our existing teaching staff. Our goal is to offer housing to 30% of our anticipated expanded 80-teacher workforce by 2027.
